    • North Carolina High School Basketball - Spring Creek nips Jones

    In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Spring Creek Gators basketball team scored a close 78-71 triumph over the Jones Trojans.

    The Gators (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Union was nudged by Princeton (Princeton, NC), 56-44, in a non-league match.

    The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosewood for a non-league match on Monday, December 8.
