Texas High School Basketball - West Brook triumphant over Kashmere

December 4, 2025: Houston, TX 77028

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) and the host Kashmere Fighting Rams (Houston, TX), observed West Brook's basketball team overwhelm Kashmere by a score of 88-36.

The Bruins (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Hardin-Jefferson trounced Aldine (Houston, TX), 57-41, in a non-league battle.

The Fighting Rams now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yates for a 4A Region III District 20 battle on Monday, December 8. Kashmere will meet a Lions squad coming off a 75-58 league win over Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-1.
