Texas High School Basketball - Lancaster can't hold off South Grand Prairie

South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), 42-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, South Grand Prairie upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 7-2. Lake Ridge won 79-36 in their recent non-league contest against Bowie (Arlington, TX)

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Lancaster will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 57-54 non-league win over Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX).
