The St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) basketball edged the visiting Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 61-57 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Purple Knights now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Landry for a non-league test on Monday, December 8. St. Augustine will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 87-60 non-league loss to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-4.
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA). The Fighting Eagles come into the non-league test with a 5-1 record.
