In Thursday's non-league test, the Walton Warriors (Walton, NY) basketball team were winner over the host Norwich Purple Tornado (Norwich, NY), by a tally of 70-51.
The Warriors now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Delaware Academy for a Section 4 Midstate bout on Friday, December 5.
With the loss, Norwich falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Purple tornado travel to Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY) to encounter the Sabers in a Section 4 Southern Tier - East test on Tuesday, December 9. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
