The Blackwell Hornets basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Colorado Wolves to 34 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Klondike for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Blackwell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 60-30 non-league win over Plains (Plains, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.
The Wolves (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, Klondike got by Plains (Plains, TX), 60-30, in a non-league outing.
