Texas High School Basketball - Crane bested by Sands

Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Crane Cranes (Crane, TX), 38-24 in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Sweetwater topped O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX), 58-11, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cranes battle the Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Crane will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 41-29 non-league loss to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX).
