The Crane Cranes basketball team (Crane, TX), was trounced 64-31 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Westbrook Wildcats (Westbrook, TX)

The Wildcats (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Badgers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Merkel trounced Albany (Albany, TX), 39-17, in a non-league match.

The Cranes now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sands for a non-league match on Thursday, December 4. Crane will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 40-25 non-league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-5.
