The Marshall County Marshals basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Crittenden County Rockets to 45 in the Marshals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Marshals now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host McCracken County for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11.

With the loss, Crittenden County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Breckinridge County (Harned, KY) to play the Fighting Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. The Fighting Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-1. Breckinridge County lost 65-42 in their recent non-league game against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY)
