Texas High School Basketball - Garrison can't hold off Cumberland Academy

Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX), 41-40 in a non-league contest.
The Knights (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wells (Wells, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Wells was nudged by Alto (Alto, TX), 42-36, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alto for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. Garrison will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Wells (Wells, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-3.
