North Carolina High School Basketball - East Wilkes overwhelms North Surry

The East Wilkes Cardinals basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting North Surry Greyhounds to 24 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Stokes for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. East Wilkes will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 47-27 non-league win over North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, North Surry falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 4-1. North Wilkes won 50-29 in their recent non-league game against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)
