In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Godley Wildcats basketball team scored a big 73-36 win over the Slidell Greyhounds.

The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Gunter overwhelmed North Lamar (Paris, TX), 71-54, in a non-league match.

The Greyhounds now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tolar for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. Slidell will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 38-33 non-league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 6-4.
