Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX), 36-29 in a non-league contest.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Roscoe, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Highland was tipped by Ballinger (Ballinger, TX), 28-16, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Sierra Blanca Vaqueros (Sierra Blanca, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Sanderson will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Vaqueros go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 35-14 non-league win over Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX).
