Illinois High School Basketball - Thornton Fractional South routs Shepard

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves basketball team scored a big 65-33 win over the Shepard Astros.
The Red Wolves (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts come into the South Suburban - Red contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Argo was trounced by Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 87-29, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Astros face the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. Shepard will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 41-11 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
