Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 5-0 in a non-league outing.

The Champions (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, South Mountain got by Skyline (Mesa, AZ), 8-0, in a non-league game.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
