Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), saw Chaparral's soccer squad triumph over Higley by a final score of 5-0.
With the triumph, Chaparral moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Knights now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Basha for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 10. Higley will confront a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.
