The West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) basketball toppled the visiting Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC), 46-35 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Whiteville for a non-league bout on Friday, December 5. West Brunswick will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Cape Fear Academy falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
