Kentucky High School Basketball - Anderson County knocked off by Grant County

The Grant County Braves basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Anderson County Bearcats to 47 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Braves now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Grant County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-46 league win over Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Bearcats (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Trimble County (Bedford, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Trimble County was defeated by Ludlow (Ludlow, KY), 84-71, in a non-league contest.
