Virginia High School Basketball - Briar Woods edges Broad Run

December 5, 2022: Ashburn, VA 20148

The Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), 64-62 in Monday's non-league test.

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Freedom (South Riding, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Freedom was tipped by Battlefield (Haymarket, VA), 57-44, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Rock Ridge for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 7. Broad Run will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 53-46 non-league win over Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-1.
