The Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), 59-58 in Monday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Tritons go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Pacifica was tipped by Ventura (Ventura, CA), 53-36, in a league test.

The Pioneers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sage Ridge for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. Canyon Springs will encounter a Scorpions squad coming off a 61-60 non-league win over North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-1.
