Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA), 74-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rancho Verde upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Murrieta Mesa lost 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against Silverado (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Sea Kings clash with the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Corona del Mar will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Aztecs go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 69-56 non-league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA).
