The McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY), 67-54 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Eagles go into the District 10 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Ohio County notched a victory over Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY), 66-47, in a non-league test.
The Rockets now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Webster County for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Crittenden County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 77-50 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
