Deckerville Eagles (Deckerville, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs (Owendale, MI), 72-5 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Deckerville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Imlay City (Imlay City, MI) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Imlay City lost 87-52 in their recent non-league bout against Ecorse (Ecorse, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Caseville Eagles (Caseville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Owendale-Gagetown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
