The Excel Academy of Englewood Bulls basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Golder Panthers to 45 in the Bulls non-league victory on Monday.
The Bulls now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Back of the Yards College Prep for a Chicago Public - Blue Central contest on Tuesday, December 6. Excel Academy of Englewood will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 28-17 league win over Victoria Soto (Chicago, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hansberry (Chicago, IL). The Bengals come into the Noble contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Hansberry edged Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL), 94-70, in a non-league contest.
