Shawnee Mission North Bison (Shawnee Mission, KS) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Harmon Hawks (Kansas City, KS), 65-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Shawnee Mission North upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bison travel to De Soto (De Soto, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hawks play the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Harmon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 60-56 non-league loss to Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS).
