Monrovia Wildcats (Monrovia, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), 69-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monrovia upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to University (Irvine, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 4-5. University won 114-36 in their recent non-league bout against Eastside Christian (Fullerton, CA)

Next up, the Tornados play the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific bout, on Friday, December 9. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 64-61 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).
