Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Salem Christian Eagles (Macungie, PA), 57-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lehighton upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Indians host Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Conestoga Christian Cougars (Morgantown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Salem Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 77-55 non-league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA).
