Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wyoming Area knocked off by Riverside

The Riverside Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors to 46 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Honesdale for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Riverside will meet a Hornets team coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-1.

The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Buckhorns enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Wallenpaupack Area was defeated by Lakeland (Jermyn, PA), 64-62, in a non-league contest.
