South Oldham Dragons (Crestwood, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valley Vikings (Louisville, KY), 89-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Oldham upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Walton-Verona won 95-72 in their recent non-league bout against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY)

Next up, the Vikings play the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 71-62 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY).
