Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Twentynine Palms Wildcats (Twentynine Palms, CA), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Xavier Prep upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Saints travel to Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Palo Verde Valley lost 59-23 in their recent non-league bout against Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles (Desert Hot Springs, CA) in a Desert Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Twentynine Palms will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 71-38 non-league loss to Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA).
