Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), 65-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherokee Trail upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars host Broomfield (Broomfield, CO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Arapahoe Warriors (Centennial, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Douglas County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 54-37 non-league win over Legend (Parker, CO).
