Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ), saw Mesquite's basketball squad hold off Eastmark by a tally of 66-63.

With the victory, Mesquite improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Firebirds confront the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Eastmark will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
