East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Armorel Tigers (Armorel, AR), 43-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Poinsett County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Warriors host Earle (Earle, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Earle won 69-22 in their recent league bout against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Armorel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 56-12 non-league win over Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR).
