Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lakeview Gators (Campti, LA), 38-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Avoyelles Charter upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The host Glenmora (Glenmora, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Gators play the Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
