Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), 86-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blazer upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to play the Musketeers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Musketeers come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Patriots play the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Wednesday, December 14. George Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
