In their next game, the Eagles face the Senath-Hornersville Lions (Senath, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 8. East Prairie will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.

With the defeat, Caruthersville moves to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Campbell (Campbell, MO) to face the Camels in a Bootheel game on Tuesday, December 6. The Camels enter the game with a record of 1-0. Campbell won 59-40 in their recent non-league game against Greenville (Greenville, MO)
