Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines (Eveleth, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN), 69-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Deer River (Deer River, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Deer River won 90-33 in their recent league bout against Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN)

Next up, the Hunters play the Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN) in a AA Section 7 bout, on Saturday, December 10. Denfeld will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rails go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 58-39 league win over Hermantown (Hermantown, MN).
