The North Mahaska Warhawks basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Grundy Center Spartans to 39 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Warhawks now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to B-G-M for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Tuesday, December 6. North Mahaska will meet a Bears team coming off a 38-37 non-league win over Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.

The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs enter the North Iowa Cedar - West contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, East Marshall was nudged by Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 57-39, in a non-league contest.
