The St. Croix Central Panthers (Hammond, WI) basketball nipped the visiting New Richmond Tigers (New Richmond, WI), 39-35 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Amery (Amery, WI). The Warriors go into the Middle Border test with a 3-1 record.
The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Menomonie for a Big Rivers test on Friday, December 9. New Richmond will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 72-42 non-league win over Medford (Medford, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-3.
