The Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH), 56-30 in Monday's non-league test.
The Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Rangers go into the Southwestern test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, North Ridgeville was trounced by Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 51-46, in a league test.
The Sailors now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bay for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 7. Vermilion will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 53-33 league loss to Westlake (Westlake, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 1-4.
