Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the University Cougars (Orlando, FL) and the visiting Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL), saw University's basketball squad overcome Oviedo by a tally of 38-22.

With the victory, University improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Winter Park (Winter Park, FL) to play the Wildcats in a challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
