La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glendora Tartans (Glendora, CA), 41-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Serna upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lancers host California (Whittier, CA) to clash with the Condors in a bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Condors go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Tartans clash with the Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Glendora will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
