Granite Hills Grizzlies (Porterville, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 62-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA) to play the Wolves in a bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the California City Ravens (California City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. McFarland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Ravens come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 65-31 non-league loss to Highland (Bakersfield, CA).
