The Pinconning Spartans smashed the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings basketball team by a score of 70-37 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farwell for a Jack Pine contest on Friday, December 8. Pinconning will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-19 non-league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
