In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 7. Jasper will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 8-1 record after their 36-26 non-league win over Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX).

With the defeat, Anahuac moves to 3-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Warren (Warren, TX) to face the Warriors in a 3A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-9. Warren lost 61-40 in their recent non-league game against Splendora (Splendora, TX)
