The Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Mankato West Scarlets to 53 in the Red Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eden Prairie for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Benilde-St. Margaret's will meet a Eagles team coming off a 86-73 non-league loss to Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Scarlets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Owatonna ran past Stillwater (Stillwater, MN), 76-59, in a non-league contest.
