Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside knocked off by Broad Run

The Broad Run Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Riverside Ram to 45 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Briar Woods for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Broad Run will battle a Falcons team coming off a 51-50 non-league loss to Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

The Ram (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Loudoun Valley was defeated by Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA), 62-55, in a non-league contest.
