Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Burrell nips Our Lady of the Sacred Heart

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) and the host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA), saw Burrell's basketball squad hold off Our Lady of the Sacred Heart by a count of 43-40.
With the victory, Burrell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Jeannette (Jeannette, PA) to play the Jayhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Jeannette won 44-39 in their recent non-league challenge against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA)
Next up, the Chargers play the Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
