Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to play the Blackcats in a District 58 bout on Friday, December 8. The Blackcats go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Prestonsburg won 83-21 in their recent non-league bout against Cordia (Hazard, KY)

Next up, the Tigers play the Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Clay County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Green Dragons go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 89-58 non-league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY).
