Texas High School Basketball - Community overwhelmed by Commerce

The Commerce Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Community Braves to 34 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dodd City for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Commerce will battle a Hornets team coming off a 61-38 non-league win over Avery (Avery, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.

The Braves (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Longview (Longview, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Longview triumphed over Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 68-49, in a non-league contest.
